Jordan contacted me and said that he was taking a weekend trip up to Virginia Beach to spend the weekend with his girlfriend Ashley. But for them, it wasn’t going to be just a regular weekend. Jordan had a plan for them to walk along the beach in a special spot where they had one of their first dates.

After they walked past me, and I kept trying to walk further away from them, Jordan began to reach into his pocket as he was hugging Ashley. And before it clicked to her, he dropped down to one knee to ask her to marry him! Ashley said, “yes” with the biggest smile and her hand to her mouth in pure shock!

I got to photograph them as they basked in their new engagement together by the waves! I swear, this spot was meant to be for them because about ten minutes before they arrive the beach suddenly became less crowded. Everyone packed up their chairs and coolers and headed off the beach for the evening and Jordan and Ashley had a large strip of beach to themselves! Which does not happen at the Oceanfront during the Summer! Congratulations Jordan and Ashley!
