The year 2017 is already gearing up to be an amazing year! How could it not? It is the year that I am marrying my best friend, Cory! I also get to be apart of several of my friends and family member’s weddings and celebrate with them! I have met wonderful couples that I will be photographing this year on their special days as well! Before the entire year is booked up I wanted to put some Wish List things out there into the world, in hopes that more adventurous and heartfelt couples come across my blog!
I cannot explain to you enough how much I loved the year 2016 and it was largely in part of the couples that invited me into their lives. I loved seeing your love grow with your fiancé from the moment I met you to the moment you two saw each other on your wedding day. Love grows into something greater as we get older with our spouses and/or fiancés and to be able to bare witness to this for so many couples is one of the greatest honors I have in my life.
Your wedding day is one of the most special days in your lives together. I hope that you are able to plan a day that is true to what you both love. If you want to elope on a mountain, do that! If you want a grand estate wedding with all of your friends and family present, do that! If you want a combination of those mountain views but the comfort of a classic venue, you can 100% find that for you two! If you want something local but unique to both of your interest, do it! Options are truly endless nowadays and I am here to tell you to stay true to yourself and what you and your fiancé want for your wedding day. I will just be over here raising my hand to come photograph all of those adventures and moments for you!
Today, I am going to list out some of my Wish List venues and locations to photograph genuine and down to earth couples! If you are still searching for a venue this list may help you as well and if you are a bride or groom that is getting married at any of these venues I would love to hear from you!
I would love to photograph more weddings in urban areas like the Norfolk Arts District and venues in Richmond, Virginia.

I love traveling for weddings! I would love to photograph more destination weddings and I will go ANYWHERE for you!
Destination weddings don’t have to be in other countries or even another state! They can be right here in Virginia and if you are getting married in the mountains I am offering a special discount this year for those special couples! Here are some venues below that I would love to photograph your special day at!
At the end of the day, it is your wedding day, your love story and I am honored to be there to photograph it. This is my wish list and if you want to be adventurous with me I would love to chat with you about your wedding day! Whether that is taking a walk in the woods to a beautiful location, hiking to waterfalls with you or pulling alongside Blueridge Parkway, I want to be there to make your wedding day and portrait dreams come true!
If any of these locations or ideas sound like you and your fiancé I would love to chat with you about your wedding day! I am offering special offers for anyone that is getting married at these venues or venues similar to these! I can’t wait to hear from you and get to know you and your fiancé, you can contact me!
